Russia has said that the procedure of nuclear weapons is only probable in emergency circumstances. According to the spokesperson of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Russia will use its nuclear weapons only in emergency situations.
The spokesperson of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs further said that Russia is not interested in a direct confrontation with NATO and the United States. Nuclear weapons would only be used as a response.
On the other hand, the news agency says that the Russian Minister of Defense said on Tuesday that there is no need to use nuclear weapons in Ukraine.
The news agency added that the Russian defense minister also dismissed speculation about possible use of chemical weapons in Ukraine as false.
